At the age of five, Shu Shiro began sharing artwork on Instagram together with their mother.
The artwork expresses small discoveries and joys found in everyday life through unique colors and heartfelt words.Poetry is also published alongside the artwork.
After winning a painting contest held by Hoshino Coffee in 2022, Shu Shiro began receiving commissions from companies and restaurants.
The colorful and playful artwork brings warmth to many people.
In 2024, Shu Shiro's Threads posts reached 50 million annual views, and the calendar sold out 1,200 copies within one week.
